Happy Tuesday and I hope your week is off to a good start!
This week I had a mini adventure, but a delicious food related adventure! (Which is always a good adventure in my opinion! Is that just me?)
This week, I visited Borsalino, a local Bosnian coffee shop/restaurant. A place I have passed dozens of times over the last several years, had always talked about wanting to try, but had yet to take that next step to stop in and try it out. Sadly, another example of my consistent theme (and issue) of following through on things I say I want to do. So, while it may have been a mini adventure, I felt like it fit nicely with my theme for this year!
Week 2, Adventure 2 | Underground Glow SUP
Good to see you again! 🙂 This week's adventure was a blast and took me to Red River Gorge on an absolutely gorgeous Sunday. This week, along with my friend Christina, I spent my Sunday morning SUPing (is that how you make it a verb?) through an old abandoned, flooded limestone mine ... cool right?! My SUP adventure was a joint venture by two really fabulous companies in the Kentucky area - Explorer Chicks and SUP Kentucky.
Week 1, Adventure 1 | Flotation Therapy
Welcome back! I appreciate you coming back to check in on my latest adventure! As you hopefully learned in my first post, I am on a quest to try new things and live up life as a single, independent, fun-loving, 30-something lady. For my first official adventure this year I decided to start with something relaxing that I have talked about doing for several years, but had never gotten around to booking - flotation therapy. (You are probably beginning to see a trend regarding my follow-through, huh? 🙂 ) It also didnt hurt that a friend of mine mentioned having tried it recently, pulling the idea to the front of my brain!
Hey There and Welcome!
Hi There and welcome to my slice of the blog-sphere. I am glad you decided to check out my site. 🙂 This is my first ever blog post and hopefully it wont be my last! I am not a writer. Never imagined that I would be a writer. Recently I celebrated my birthday. It was a great day, filled with love and support from family and friends, and I am extremely blessed. But, I am not where I expected to be as a 30-something year-old woman. I am as single as single gets, I have never been married and I do not have any children. I am not even dating anyone seriously. I am as about as independent as independent gets. While, I don't know how long I will be in this current life state, I want to be sure that I am taking full advantage of it while it lasts. I want to be trying new things, meeting new people, and broadening my horizons.
