The Table, Part 2

So, several weeks ago I updated you on the progress of my table.  While a solidly built table, it had become a splotchy, stained table that was a bit of an eyesore.  Maybe more than a bit.

But, I can now happily report, that is no longer the situation!  After being sanded, conditioned, stained (and stained and stained) and varnished (and varnished and varnished and varnished) it is back to its original glory!  And I have to say, it looks pretty darn good!  I have impressed myself with my re-finish capabilities!

And, doesn’t the new Christmas centerpiece look good?!

This adventure has inspired to me to take on more DIY projects this year, some on the radar …

  • Painting my fireplace
  • Painting my bathroom
  • Refinishing a mystery tanker desk left in my house when I moved in

Wonder what I should do next?!
